Trying to stop the creation and deletion of items in Repeating Section of Nintex Form

I am working on a Nintex Form that uses the Repeating Section control. I'm trying to make it so that in Edit Mode, no items can be created nor deleted in the Repeating Section, but there doesn't appear to be a solution right now.

Thank you very much for posting your feedback for our review. At this time, we will not be adding this request to the near-term backlog, as we are focused on other highly requested features. However, we reevaluate requests every quarter and will reach out if priorities change. Please keep the feedback coming as it is critical for our longer-term planning.

This is a much needed feature.

We have several scenarios that require the ability for users to either display, contribute or edit repeating sections and only based on certain conditions.

Scenario 1 - User submits a request but another user is reviewing the request and making edits. The repeating section should only be in display mode on EDIT MODE. This is not an option for us to make this read-only only in edit mode with rules. User editing form can simply delete or add rows to repeating section.

Scenario 2 - User submits a request and it goes through an approval process. We would only want it in unlocked and not in READ-ONLY when certain conditions are met where the user may need to make edits and re-submit for approval. We do not have this as an option to put a repeating section in read-only with rules.

Please add this feature to Nintex Forms for Office 365 application.

Read-only repeating section

Read-only repeating sections are needed to provide a consistent user experience now that Form Plugins are present in NAC. Repeating sections can be massaged into appearing read-only there but without Form Plugins in SPO there is no way to do this....
